The Virginia State University Campus
Our scenic campus is spread over 200 acres and is home to several historic landmarks and countless stories. Located minutes from shopping and attractions in the Greater Richmond area, our visitors have much to enjoy when their business on campus ends. We encourage campus tours so that prospective students and their families can obtain a better understanding of one of this nation’s oldest Historically Black College and University (HBCU).
The VSU Office of Enrollment Services conducts tours of campus Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, for high school students and their families at 10 am and 2pm. Our tours begin with a 30-minute Admissions presentation followed by a walking tour by the VSU Student Ambassadors. The Student Ambassadors are both informed and enthusiastic as they proudly discuss places of interest while sharing insightful information about the student experience.
