    Virginia State University’s volleyball team swept Elizabeth City State University 3-0 (25-10, 25-21, 25-20) on Thursday, October 11th inside Daniel Gymnasium. The Lady Trojans played great defensively snagging 60 total digs, led by Jenessa Shinauld’s (So./ Sacramento, CA) 22 digs and Whitley Bradley (R-So./ Cibilo, TX) added 11 digs.

  • Lady Trojans Dig Pink Volleyball Match Set for Thursday, Oct. 11

    Head women’s volleyball coach Ivana Rich and the Lady Trojans are pleased to announce their Dig Pink game to be hosted on Thursday, October 11, 2012 at 6:00 p.m. in Daniel Gymnasium. During the match the Lady Trojans will be hosting a pink basket raffle and bake sale to raise funds. Please support the Lady Trojans by wearing pink and supporting their fundraising efforts during their match against Elizabeth City State University.

    Whitley Bradley (Rs.-So./ Cibilo, TX) served six service aces, nine kills, and 12 digs in a 3-0 (25-10, 25-9, 25-12) straight-set sweep against Virginia Union University on Monday, October 8th in Daniel Gymnasium on the campus of Virginia State University.

    Jenessa Shinauld (So./Sacramento, CA) and Whitley Bradley (Rs.-So/Cibilo, TX) both recorded double-digit digs in a 3-1 (11-25, 18-25, 25-19, 14-25) loss to Randolph Macon College on Tuesday, October 2nd in Ashland, VA.

    Virginia State University’s volleyball team suffered a close 3-2 (23-25, 16-25, 25-23, 25-18, 13-15) loss to Chowan University in their season home opener on Monday, Sept. 24th in Ettrick, VA. The Lady Trojans battled back down 2-0 to force a fifth set, led by Whitley Bradley’s (Rs.-So/ Cibilo, TX) 16 kills.
