DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Teach undergraduate courses in Mathematics and Statistics for majors and non-majors, as well as graduate courses. Provide academic advisement; participate in scholarly and research endeavors; engage in grant/proposal writing; and serve on departmental, school and university committees.
Candidates must possess an earned doctorate in Statistics with an established record of excellence in teaching at a college level and a record of scholarly publications. The appointed individual also must possess excellent oral and written communication skills in the English language as well as the ability to work with persons from culturally diverse backgrounds. Recent Ph.D. graduates are encouraged to apply. Official transcript for terminal degree in Mathematics or Statistics must be in hand by the end of July 2014.
