Three New Members Appointed to VSU Board of Visitors

Virginia State University, VA - Governor Terry McAuliffe today announced new administration appointments including three new appointees to the Virginia State University Board of Visitors.
The Governor’s new appointments to the VSU Board of Visitors are:
- Pam Currey ( New Kent County) State Advisor, Lumina Strategy Labs and Consultant to HCM Strategists
- Paul D. Koonce (Richmond) EVP Dominion Resources and CEO Dominion Generation
- James J. L. Stegmaier (Chesterfield County) County Administrator
Two current Board members were reappointed. Daryl Cumber Dance and Jennifer L. Hunter will both serve a second term.
“We are excited about our Board of Visitors and the level of expertise and wealth of knowledge they bring to VSU. I look forward to working with our Board to continue to strengthen our University and provide a transformative educational experience for our students,” stated VSU President, Dr. Makola Abdullah. “I would also like to extend my gratitude to Board members Robert Denton, Daphne Maxwell Reid, and Willie Randall who have served our University well over the years. I would like to thank each of them for their service and commitment to VSU.”
The new VSU Board members will begin their terms on July 1st, 2016.
