Get a TrojanCard

How do you get your TrojanCard?

Students

In order to obtain a TrojanCard, you must be a registered student for the term in which you are requesting the ID. This means that you cannot be issued a card if you are not currently registered for classes. This is true even if you are planning on registering for future classes.

Once the information has been provided, you will be able to obtain your VSU TrojanCard. If you have any questions, contact the TrojanCard office at (804) 524-5282.

Where and what to bring

The TrojanCard is issued by the TrojanCard office located in Room B10, Virginia Hall. You must bring an official government-issued photo ID (driver’s license, international passport, military ID, etc.), no copies of IDs will be accepted, no exceptions. Students receiving their ID prior to the start of the semester and/or before their scheduled new student orientation must bring a copy of their student schedule.

Faculty and Staff

The TrojanCard Office does not accept letters, emails, or phone calls as valid authorization for a TrojanCard. The Human Resources department is responsible for entering your information into BANNER and providing your BANNER ID Number, as well as submitting the TrojanCard ID Request form in order for you to obtain an ID.
